I’m not really a big football fan to begin with. But in the past, I’ve found myself in front of the television while the ole hog skin was getting tossed around from time to time. This season, given the whole Colin Kaepernick situation, I’ve been even less inclined to support the NFL. With that said, I still might watch the Superbowl tomorrow, mostly for the commercials. Secondly, it’ll give me an excuse to eat all of my favorite foods: pizza, wings, and all of the dips.
This brings me to today’s recipe: spinach artichoke dip. But this isn’t your standard version. Why? Because there’s bacon. That’s why. And we all know that bacon makes everything better.
Oh, and consider yourself warned—you will want to eat the entire batch for yourself. So you might want to double it if you want there to be a chance for any of your friends to taste some.
