Greetings! Since you can use homemade or a frozen pie crust – do I need to cook the pie crust in any capacity before adding the sweet potato filing or does the recipe bake the (uncooked dough) crust with the filling? This is my first time making the pie and I want to get it right 🙂

They were trying to say that you were correct and that the other person was wrong. But they just couldn't upload a photo to prove it to the other person.

My mom made the recipe that year from the magazine and we liked it so much that I took a photo with my phone so I would have it. You are correct(as you well know). I am unable to attach to this comment box or I would show that the recipe published in southern living nov 2020 is exactly as the recipe you have posted here.
